Reading

This week we will continue reading the novel, A Wrinkle in Time. Students will have a quiz on 13-23 of the literary terms on Thursday and a test on vocabulary and Chapters 5 and 6 of the novel on Friday.

Personal Finance

This week we will finish the exercises in Everfi, and we will also prepare financial statements. We will do Problem 9-6. Students will have a test Friday on financial statements.

May 8-Dinner Theater-6 o'clock-PLAS Cafetorium-The drama class will present "Once Upon a High School." Ticket are on sale in office for $15. Menu will be homemade spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert.
May 12-Spring Band Concert
May 14-High School Honors Assembly

CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

1. Be prepared-Bring all materials to class-pencil, paper, notebook, workbook, textbook, calculator, etc.
2. Be seated and quiet when the bell rings with book open and homework assignment on desk.
3. Sharpen pencil before class.
4. Raise your hand before speaking.
5. Be courteous and polite at all times.
6. All make-up work should be done according to the guidelines in the handbook. An excuse is necessary before doing make-up work. Therefore, you must go by the office and get a slip before coming to class.
7. Students will be excused from class only for an emergency.
8. No food or drinks in the room.
9. Cell phones should be put in basket when you enter the classroom and all cell phones should be turned off.
